The travel impulse is mental and physical curiosity. It’s a passion. And I can’t understand people who don’t want to travel.
Originally from Spain, I have lived in 9 countries across 4 continents and travelled to more than 60 countries. Travelling is my passion, exploring new places few people have been to and learning about new cultures. Through conversations, but also from reading any book I can get my hands on.
Diving is an essential part of my trips, and I try to go anywhere where sharks are present. I cannot imagine life too far away from the ocean.
Storytelling has always been part of me, passed on through generations of my mother’s family – restless, curious souls, who narrated their adventures through stories. Now I decided to share mine through Ave de Paso, hoping that others will also feel the impulse to travel to the confines of the earth.
Sometimes I travel alone, but other times I do it with amazing friends who are also looking for adventure. To them, I would like to say thanks for joining me in these mad trips and putting up with my far-fetched ideas and serious organising skills.
The farther one travels the more one becomes aware of the extraordinary wealth of generosity and kindness that exists in the world.
